Hi, I’m Bridgette, founder of The Thirsty Fish, a mobile bar inspired by family, roots, and more than twenty years of bartending experience.

I was born in Spokane, Washington, but moved to Reno when I was two. This city raised me. After spending years in Las Vegas working on the Strip and later at a popular Mexican cantina inside a neighborhood casino, I built incredible relationships with regulars and learned the kind of hospitality that sticks with people long after the night ends. I’ve always genuinely enjoyed working for others and being part of a team, supporting a business and growing alongside it.

But over time, a quiet question started following me around:

“What if I built something of my own?”

That question came up on drives home from work, after busting my behind, chats with guests, and especially during the early mornings holding my son. It took years for that whisper to become a certainty, but once it did, I knew I had to listen.

When my fiancé and I had our son, everything shifted. I wanted him to grow up close to the people who shaped me. I wanted him surrounded by family, roots, love, and the chaos and comfort of home. So we packed up our life in Vegas and moved back to Reno, not just to start over, but to start something meaningful.

That move made The Thirsty Fish possible, a business built on intention, family, and craft.
